1. What is a
Domain Name?
Think
of a Domain Name as an address where people can find you on the
Internet through your own Internet address (eg: www.yourname.com)
One good very familiar example of domain name would be
www.yahoo.com. All you need to do to go to www.yahoo.com is just
to type in the domain name in the Internet Explorer address bar.
So, by registering a domain name, you will have an address on the
internet where users can visit and view.
2. Can you help me register a Domain Name?
Of course! That is the baseline of our services. We provide you
with hassle-free domain registration. Once registered, the domain
name would be completely yours and you are free to do anything you
want with it. Now you would want to find a web hosting for your
newly registered domain name.
3. Can I register a domain name which is not available
or has been taken by others?
No, you cannot have a domain name that is already registered. In
this case, you would have to find another name that no one has
registered before for your website.
4. What
Domain Name can I use?
A domain name can only be 63 characters excluding the extensions
(that's the "www" and "com" thing). Allowable characters in your
domain are alphabets, numbers and the hyphen " - ". Other
characters ("!,.#$@_") are not allowed. Domain name is not case
sensitive so "www.MYDOMAIN.com" and "www.mydomain.com" are just
the same.
5. What kind of domain extension can I register?
Currently, we have the registration of '.com', '.org',
'.net', '.info', '.biz', '.name', '.us', '.mobi', '.asia' as well as '.com.my', '.org.my' and '.net.my',
'.name.my'.
6. How
long will the domain registration process take?
We will register your specified domain name after the letter of
confirmation of registration and payment is received. A .com domain
name will be ready within 24 - 48 hours of working day after
registration. As for .my domain name, it takes 2-3 working days
and is subject to Mynic approval.

Do I get
Login ID & Password for my domain name?
Yes if you register
only domain name from us.
8. Is the
Domain Name Registered belongs to me?
Yes.
Sometimes when you have a third party register a
domain for you, your name is not written under the "Administrative
Contact" section of the domain name. In other words, the domain
name is not yours. But rest assured, if you have us register the
domain name for you, the Administrative/Owner would be you. To
prove this, we will show you yourself on how to check that.
9. What is Domain Transfer?
Domain Transfer meaning
transfer of domain from your current Registrar to
Eternal Solutions Registrar. In this case, you can now
renew .com/.net/.org/.info/.biz domain name at a lower cost of
RM50 with us.
Transferring your Domain Name to Eternal Solutions
will add 1 Year to your Domain Name.
10. How much does it cost for a domain transfer?
We don't charge any
processing fee for domain transfer. You pay only the
Renewal Fee to transfer the domain name to us.
11. What is the conditions/requirement to perform
domain transfer?
.com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.name
- Your
Domain Name must be at least 60 days old. You cannot
transfer a Domain Name if it has been registered in
the last 60 days. Please check your Domain Name
Creation date by performing a WHOIS on your domain
name and make sure it is at least 60 days old.
- Transferring your Domain Name will add one year to
its current expiry date. You will be charged 1 year
fees for it.
IMPORTANT: If your domain
expired with your old Registrar, and you renewed it
with them, then do not Transfer it within 45 days of
the previous expiry date since it will not add 1 more
year to your domain name, and you will lose out on the
Renewal fees paid to the older Registrar.

12. I want to transfer my
domain to your company. What shall I do now?
.com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.name
i) Check if
your domain name is able to be transferred. See above
questions.
ii) Sign up online and proceed with the payment.
iii) Obtain your Domain ID & Password and Secret Key from your current
Registrar or Domain Provider and then email the
details to us.
iv) We will initiate the transfer the process.
v) If you are the Domain Owner/Administrative
Contact/Technical Contact, check your email frequently
during the transfer process to authorize and approve
each transfer step.
.my domain
i)
You need to obtain the Administrative Contact UserID &
Password. If you do not have it, you may request for
assistance from us to retrieve it from Mynic web site.
13. My Domain name is about to expire. What will
happen if I don't renew it?
After the
domain name expired, everything related to the domain
name including the web site and email will be
inactive. In this case, your web site become
inaccessible. You also can not receive or send
email with this domain name.
14. My Domain name has already expired few days
ago. Can I renew/gain back the domain name?
.com/.net/.org/.biz/.info/.name
Please check if you
domain name has expired for more than 15 days. During
this 15 days, you are able to renew it without any
penalty. After 15 days, you will need to pay a penalty
and the renewal fee if you wish to claim back the
domain.
.my domain

Once the domain name has expired, you are unable to
transfer it away. You need to renew the domain from
current provider to get it active before we can
perform the transfer of domain/hosting.
